Never Share OTP, PIN, Password or UPI PIN

Bank officials never ask customers for confidential banking credentials through phone calls, SMS, email or social media.

Keep OTP Confidential

Never share OTP, PIN, CVV or UPI PIN with anyone under any circumstances.

Verify Banking Website

Always ensure the website URL starts with HTTPS before login.

Secure Mobile Devices

Protect your phone with password, fingerprint or screen lock.

Avoid Public Wi-Fi

Avoid accessing banking services through unsecured public Wi-Fi networks.

Update Software Regularly

Keep mobile apps, antivirus and operating systems updated regularly.

Phishing Emails

Fraudsters send fake emails or links pretending to be banks.

Fake Customer Care Calls

Fraudsters impersonate bank officials to collect sensitive details.

UPI Collect Request Fraud

Never approve unknown collect requests in UPI applications.

QR Code Scam

Scanning QR code may debit money from your account.

Do's

  • Register mobile number for alerts.
  • Monitor account transactions regularly.
  • Change passwords periodically.
  • Logout properly after banking session.
  • Use official banking applications only.
