Unclaimed Deposit Policy

The Udaipur Mahila Samridhi Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd. follows Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines regarding identification, monitoring, reporting, and settlement of unclaimed deposits and inoperative accounts.

Policy Overview

Accounts which remain inoperative or inactive for a prolonged period are classified as unclaimed deposits in accordance with RBI norms. Such balances are transferred to the Depositor Education and Awareness Fund (DEAF) maintained by Reserve Bank of India after the prescribed period.

The Bank continuously encourages customers to update KYC, operate accounts regularly, and claim unclaimed deposits through simplified customer assistance procedures.
